SUMMER SIDE TRIPS!

What we’re learning in July…

“Summer Side Trips" is our learning experience topic of the month and all our activities are intended to: Encourage exploration of sports, cooking and science, and build appreciation of the many fun and exciting aspects of the summer season.

For the summer season, we will have different sub-topics for the children every week. Here are the sub-topics for the month of July: Sports Camp, Cool Cooking, Gooey Science and Cool Scapes.

Hey Parents!

Would you like to advertise your business to our little daycare network? Well here’s your golden opportunity! When you bring your child to care, hand over a business card and we’ll copy all your business information into our next blog posting!

Summer, Summer, Summa-time!

Dear Family,

Summer is a special time in a young child’s life. Not only is the weather beautiful and outside play is common, but a whole new world of nature and activities opens up for exploration and discovery. With some special tools, we’ll not only see summer through a different perspective, we’ll also bask in the beautiful environment through some sizzling seasonal fun. Join us as we see where all our side trips will lead us!

Parent’s Tidbits

“I want that, I want that!” How many times do you hear that a day? Let your kids make wish banks! They can make them from coffee cans or shoe boxes. Let them find or draw picture of things they want. They can decoupage the pictures on their cans then glam them up with a little glitter or beads or anything else you have lying around. You can give them a few chores so they can save money in their “I want that” banks. This teaches them early on about money management and saving!
